1941 – present
Ned Sifferlen attended Our Lady of Mercy Elementary School and graduated from Chaminade High School. As he continued his education, he earned both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business Education from the University of Dayton. He went on to earn a Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati in Higher Education Administration as well as in Business Administration. His dedication to education and community resulted in a lifelong career in the field of education and community development. Today, Dr. Sifferlen continues as a critical member of Sinclair’s family, serving as President Emeritus, a tireless fundraiser, and volunteer extraordinaire. The Changing Lives’ campaign that was chaired by Dr. Sifferlen raised a record breaking $13.2 million dollars. He has chaired the Montgomery County Family and Children First Council, and the Premier Health Good Samaritan Hospital Board. He chaired the Education Committee for Think TV and served as a Board of Trustee member for Dayton Power & Light. Most notable was his outstanding contribution, vision, and partnership to form with Montgomery County Commissioners the Montgomery County Out-of-School Youth Task Force (OSY). From the very beginning, Sifferlen has been about finding a way to give young lives a chance.
