Don Wayne was an award winning television news anchor, reporter, and correspondent who brought the news home to the Miami Valley. He served as a foreign correspondent in Vietnam, conducting interviews and broadcasting them back home. He also covered the Iran hostage situation, and interviewed many Dayton notables, including “Boss” Kettering and John Glenn. He provided voiceover narration for films used by Wright Patterson Air Force Base, narrated a documentary about the Dayton flood, and often served as Master of Ceremonies for the Aviation Hall of Fame ceremonies.
